error with hotmail "authentication error receiving"

    Hi all,
My droid won't sync with my email anymore. This has happened before, and I normally just clear the cache and it works. This time, I cleared the cache and deleted my accounts/re-entered my email information. It updated all my emails, then I got the error message and it won't do anything anymore. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Give us some phone info. Rooted, stock, custom rom, using an email app or the stock email??? It'll help let us know what options we have.

No worries. Have you also tried wiping data in settings/apps/manage apps/all and then select the app and clear data??

It worked. Thanks! Any idea how to prevent it from doing this so I don't have to try all these things every time?

Not sure if there's any way to prevent it from happening again in the future unfortunately.
Also you might want to chek out K-9 Mail.

+1 on the k9. Its easier to run multiple accounts from k9 than stock mail app IMO
