Exclamation Force Close on boot. process "com.google.android.apps.uploader"

Hello I've done something to mess this up. I was uploading to Youtube last night and one of the vids I shared with "vaulty free" instead of You Tube. i thought that I backed out of vaulty free before it did anything but shared it with youtube and it caused a force close on this process. when i returned to the gallery my vid was gone (vaulted in vaulty free) so I unvaulted it and tried again...... force close again. and if I reboot i get this message at boot. I cannot upload to youtube anymore. I have a backup from "Titanium Backup" from a few weeks back. what should I do?

    Please help!

    Thanks,
    Dustin

I would remove the vaulty free app since it's causing issues, unless you need it, then try these steps:

Go into Titanium Backup, select backup/restore, scroll down, select youtube, then wipe data, then select uninstall.

After that, you can either restore the youtube backup or just download from the market and login to youtube.

Oh, yeah, if that's the app that's force closing, then use the above method for that app. It's worth trying it on both though, if you still have issues.

alright! I have fix the issue. After I uninstalled it and realized that i should have restored it instead. I did some searching and found a thread here on removing bloatware. on that thread is a link to Droid X Default Applications - ChadHaney.com. This site has the factory install APK's. MediaUploader.apk is the "my uploads" app (process com.google.android.apps.uploader) I installed this APK and it fixed my youtube and no more force close.

Thanks, for your help. I'll know to hit restore and not uninstall on apps that cannot be installed from the market.

Oops, I had no idea that you were talking about a system app when you said "my uploads". I thought it was an app you downloaded for uploading videos or something. The method I showed works for regular apps, since you can reinstall from a backup or the market, but not system apps.

Glad you got it fixed though...

I have everything back that i deleted. (i removed amazon and maddel before I realized thats a no no. I've read to give the app permissions to become a system process again. I've used root expolorer moved the files into the system/apps folder and installed them. after that I gave them permission. checked all the check boxes. Is this how its done or should I have given the permissions before i installed them? or am i even on the right screen?

    Thanks
