I have messing with this all day and keep in mind I am still new to this.
Are you using dx boot strap recovery? If your on gingerbread you should be using d2 bootstrap.

    Running with MIUI

Alright...I may have missed something way back when I first flashed my D2 bootstrap while rooting my stock .605. All went well, rooted, and flashed CM74DX onto my phone. Since that time I've flashed several variants of Pooka's CM7 over on RootzWiki, but I never again re-flashed my D2 bootstrap since that very first time while rooting. After reading this thread, and not being able to get into CWM from power off using ANY of the suggested methods, nor with any of my own "proprietary" attempts, I'm really wondering if it isn't because I never re-flashed the D2 bootstrap. Honestly, until reading this thread, I thought it was a one-time before rooting thing, and never considered I'd have to do it again unless I SBF'd back to stock. So...have I read correctly in this thread that one MUST RE-FLASH the D2 bootstrap after flashing a new ROM?

FWIW, I have no bootstrap app, though I vaguely recall I once did (I recall rebooting into recovery once using it if I'm not mistaken).

    Thanks.

What system version were you on? .602, .605 or .621? When you went to flash the other ROM what did you use? CWM or bootstrapper?
