TBH Patches: 2.3.340-System, Baseband, 2.3.340-Kernel, Bootloader
This is a series of files that will help you update different parts of your phone. These files have all been tested on Consumer phones and have worked successfully, but as with all things hacking, you are responsible for your own phone and behavior.
******** DO NOT USE ANY OF THE BELOW FILES IF YOU HAVE NOT UPDATED YOUR PHONE BEYOND 2.3.15, THESE FILES WILL NOT CREATE A FULL UPDATE FOR YOU, YOU WILL BE STUCK IN BOOTLOADER AND NEED TO USE A SBF FILE IF YOU DO ********
Install instructions for each of the files below.
2) Restart phone with bootstap recovery
3) Select install update.zip and then select the zip you downloaded
4) Resart the phone
*** When performing the baseband update you will need to reactive using *228 ***
MBM 30.04 Updater (also known as the bootloader)
This file can be used to update your phones bootloader from any version to the current 30.04 version. Although the current files 2.3.340 and 2.3.320 both worth with 30.03 and 30.04 this will provide you with the most current MBM.
2.3.340 Kernel Updater (184.108.40.206-g55626e1)
While the 2.3.320 kernel released by us will work with either the 2.3.320 or the 2.3.340 build, If you desire to have the most current build then download and install this file.
BP_C_1.09.07P Baseband Updater (also known as your radio file)
Some people have found it difficult to move from the 1.09.06P baseband or have refused official Verizon updates. This file will upgrade your phones radio file to the newest 1.09.07P Baseband.
2.3.340 System Updater <This file functions the same as the system only SBF file>
This file will update your phone to 2.3.340, you may want to wipe your data partition before proceeding as it can lead to a bootloop. With this file and the others above, you can completely upgrade your phone from .320 to .340 with no need for a computer.

Droid X Forums
Wait a minute did you try flashing these updates while still on 2.3.15, these updates are for 2.3.320 to update to 2.3.340. What version is your bootloader now, we'll need this so we can best figure what needs to be done to get you running again.
Please give us as much info as possible and what you did to get where you are now.

I was running on 2.3.15. I downloaded all four of the files listed in the previous thread. I went into recovery and installed each file from the SDcard. I did not do a reboot between each one, like I now know I should have. After getting all four on the Droid x (Each one produced several lines of commands like they always do.), I then did the reboot. The screen came up as:
OK to Program
I have tried using RSD lite 4.8. RSD lite. It does recognizes the phone on Windows 7. I have tried flashing two .sbf files, but they failed.
Thanks for your help.

you need to use the 2.3.32 SBF as you're on the 30.04 bootloader....try that using RSDlite
you can find it here:
Droid X: 2.3.32 Full SBF
curious, I am getting together a back up on my PC for RSD Lite 4.8. I've used it a couple times with 2.2. Now yesterday I went back to stock using RSD so I could take the update 2.3.340. Was told the correct SBF was Happy_Holidays...is that right? Wanted to make sure I have the correct back up, I been in the habit of bricking this thing and like to make sure I have my blankie with me. thanks
If you went back to stock yesterday using RSDlite, and you didn't brick your phone, then you used the correct one
Now if you SBF'd correctly, you should be able to get the VZW OTA update...(by going into Menu Hard Key>settings>about phone>system updates)
Did that answer your question?
Sorry, I didn't explain it right. I bricked it last week. Found the thread on RSD lite and had to SBF "The Gift". Worked great. I had a rom installed and couldn't get it to take the 2.3.340 update, so I used RSD again and redid it once again with "Thegift (bootloader was 30.03). It then accepted the update, now is 2.3.340 and now also I am on APEX V1.3.1 after I took the update. I am just looking to make sure that I have the correct SBF on my computer if I mess my phone up. Thanks
After updating to 2.3.34, and were STOCK, you should have made a backup of that...Nice and clean 2.3.34...
If you didn't, you can use the link up above for the 2.3.32 full SBF to get out of a bricked situation...2.3.32 full SBF is the proper 30.04 bootloader
Cool...I did. As soon as I was able to root, I backed it up. Just wanted to also have the correct one on my PC just incase I did something wrong. Two weeks ago I had no clue what I was doing...now I only "look" like I do. I think I have it down to under 30 minutes to make it new again. Thanks again G. You all are awesome in helping folks like me out.
