2.2 to 2.1 brick?

ok so my friend updated my x with out asking and screwed it up because i had root when it updated so i heard about sbf flashes and said hey that will work typed it in on youtube and got this video:



i did everything he said everything worked perfect until it was done and my x will only boot into boot loader my understanding is there is no fix right now so any suggestions?

idk its worth a shot. going from 2.2 to 2.1 will mess up the phone bc of different signing of the bootloader but its worth a shot.

yes.... stuck on boot loader if this doesn't work i guess ill make up a bs story about my phone died i restarted it and this happened and see what Verizon says oh btw no insurance.....

there was a sticky in the hacks section not to flash 2.1 from ota 2.2. and i also made a sticky in the RS also stating that

Yes, you should be able to use the 2.2 SBF to flash back to a stock 2.2.

I have seen posts where that fixed the phones that took 2.2 OTA and then tried to flash back to 2.1.
