Bought it at my local verizon store, I was first in line.. got there at 6:15 with my girlfriend... website said they opened at 8 lol but guess they decided for 9.. but that was fine.. me my dad and girlfriend all got one. Mine ended up being faulty and i had restored it at least 3 or 4 times. I took it back later because I got stuck in a reboot loop, they restored it again and then i had to restore again later that night. the next morning i had to restore again and then got stuck in reboot loop again.... so took it back that morning and got it replaced and this one has been great ever since. Dad loves his and my girlfriend loves hers =) these are great phones when they work lol

Well I was at my local store when they opened at was super excited. Then the rep told me that I wasn't eligible for an upgrade. I told her that I had called *611 and I was eligible and they put the note on my account. She refused to honor that. So I walked outside, called *611 and my X will be here tomorrow. I was ready for it this morning. Oh well, at least I don't have to pay the $100 Mail-in rebate this way. Tomorrow I'll take my X to that store to get a case and flaunt it in front of her. LOL

my girlfriend and i were in line at 8am, numbers 4 and 5 in line. the store opened at 9, and there were ~10 people in line by then. we got to a counter right away, and walked out with the phones 20 minutes later. they said they had 60 phones in the store, and i heard they sold out in 2 hours. we had to go back that afternoon because both of us forgot to do backup assistant before we went in that morning, causing old contact lists to be uploaded. when that was all squared away, we were out of there. i realized later that the list in my phone STILL wasnt right, but by then i had reactivated my old phone, done backup assistant, reactivated the X, then uploaded contacts again. right as rain (save for the hundreds of facebook conacts that now litter my phonebook, people i dont even have phone numbers for, much less would actually call them if i did...oh well, wave of the future, right?)

girlfriend has gone back to VZW once already for a sh!& battery plus other goings on, they hard restored it once...waiting to see if its working better, but she'll probly go back again and try to get a whole new X. it's still dropping calls like a mother, but the battery is better.
