Droid X Froyo Update Leaked

Has anybody tried calling Verizon and asking? Maybe use the premise that the phone is broken and not working right (the later is 100% true if you are running 2.1).

This crap is rediculous. Just because it's" open" doesn't mean it has to be crap. Adults and businusses will never put up with horrible delivery and distribution in the long term. I find myself counting the days until my contract expires.

I posted this on another thread, but I see a lot of questions here on it too. Take this with a grain of salt. I went in to verizon Wednesday for an issue I am having with the hotspot. They finally got me on the phone with both Verizon technical support AND Motorola tech support. I ended up asking them both about the froyo update for the x. After putting me on hold (I'm hoping to get me a correct answer. Lol) I was told that they have been having an issue with the Droid and Droid 2 updates (I'm assuming this is the Exchange issue) and that the update has been delayed a month. Told it COULD be as early as next week, but that more than likely it would be another month. Just passing on what I was told.
