No Internet Connection??

Hi, just curious if anyone has been experiencing the same or similar problem. All of a sudden as of Monday afternoon, my phone doesn't function the same. Now when I'm at work, it says I'm in Extended Network and I no longer have connection to the internet. Occasionally, the orange triangle with exclamation point shows up in my notification bar that says Data Roaming - stating that data connectivity was lost because you left your home network with data roaming?

I've tried all of the simple fixes: turning on/off, pulling battery, *228.

Does anyone have any ideas as to why this has happened? Or will it be fixed with an update? Did something happen to the towers over here? Is there something wrong with my phone?

I would guess "towers" I lose connectivity about once a month for a few hours and the problem exists on my wireless card too.

This happens to my phone all the time, and happens more so after midnight into the early morning.

I will lose 3G connection. I do everything from shutting off my phone, removing my battery...I try *228--sometimes these steps work, but most of the time it doesn't. When I lose 3G, 1/2 the time I cannot make calls either (I can't even get to *228).

It's been happening on a daily basis the past two months, and I'm really getting tired of it. I'm seriously considering shutting off my service, and just getting a plain old phone that only makes calls. This is just too unreliable, and it scares me to know that in the case of an emergency, the stupid phone may not even work!

Try checking in settings>battery and data manager>battery mode, and see if it's set to "nighttime saver" or custom, although it should wake up if you go to use it.

After checking your battery mode, if it still does it try turning on airplane mode (menu key, settings, wireless & networks) then turn it back off.
If this works for you a widget on one of your home screens to toggle airplane mode would be helpful for the next time it happens.

Thought I was the only one who figured this out. LoL. Still sucks to have to do it though!
