Wee Fee iz suxxors ? ( wifi newb )

This is kind of a silly post and I really don't know exactly what im talking about lol buutt........

Im on my 2nd Dx and Im still having wifi problems. The only way I can get my Dx to latch and stay latched to wifi is using only 1 security encryption (tsek or whatever). This means that I cannot use my schools wifi or any other wifi connection for that matter.

I read somewhere that N is not a commonly used signal where as G is the most common ? So why is the DX only supporting N?

I'm probably going to get yelled at for this but its just a pain because my og droid latched to every wifi connection there was without problems.

Is there a special way to set it up so I can use the G signals or something hahah

I should have searched more but the first time I looked I only found the tip to get my home wifi to work ( changing the encryption to a single not dual)

Usually if a device supports N it supports 802.11b/g I am pretty sure... so does your Droid

Never really checked but I have never had an issue connecting to any public WiFi's
