Shuts off when messing with camera/gallery

Hey all,

Been having a few problems with my X. Biggest bother occurs when I mess around with the camera/gallery.

When taking pics/messing with the settings on the camera/etc, it will freeze and do one of two things: shut itself off (most frustrating) or send me back to the home screen. Or if I hit the icon in the corner to go to the gallery from my camera, the screen will go black. Not off, just black like it's about to load something. Even if I back out to the home screen, clicking the gallery icon will bring up the same black screen.

Does this sound like something wrong that I should be worried about? Something an update will fix? Or maybe should I try a factory reset?

I had the same problem today when I tried to view a picture I had just taken by clicking on the little icon on the bottom left corner. Screen went black.Happened several times in a row. I turned the phone off and back on, and it started working again.

Ya i also had to do a soft reset but it happened twice since then. Made some changes though and it seems like it may have helped... i will elaborate if it doesn't do it again
