when i power off using the power button the phone doesnt turn back on

when i power off using the power button i turn the phone back on and i get the led light blinking green and the motorola symbol on the screen ... any buttons i push just turn on the back light... what is going on?

Do a battery pull & attempt to reboot the phone...

I have the same problem. Whenever I turn the phone off, no matter what the battery level is at, I cannot turn to phone back on, all I get is the Moto symbol and the blinking green light gm54 described.

I have found though that if I plug the phone it it will turn on. Hasn't failed yet with the wall charger, and works most of the time with the USB. Maybe there isn't sufficient power to boot? But the battery is usually above 80%.

Any ideas?

Did this issue ever get resolved? I am having the same problem...and now I believe I will never be able to get my phone working again.

This.is a known issue and if you call Verizon you should get a replacement sent to.you. otherrwise, battery pulls until you get the damn thing to start up then update if you havwnt and see if that works
