Bluetooth will not turn on

I have had my phone for a couple of days and no problems. This morning I paired via Bluetooth my X to my vehicle and it worked flawlessly. Since then, I have been playing with the phone - changing settings, downloading, etc. Now, I cannot get the Bluetooth to turn on at all, even if I go to settings. I've clicked on Bluetooth and under Bluetooth settings and it says Turning on ... but then the green check mark never comes on. I don't see that there is another setting anywhere. Any suggestions?
