keep getting an invalid battery message and phone won't charge. this was after I did an sbf to fix the "code corrupt" message. I tried another sbf but that didn't fix it. tried a new battery but that didn't fix it so it must be something with the phone. Problem is something tripped the water damage indicator (complete BS, as I have only had the phone for a few days and haven't gotten it anywhere near water), so they won't cover it.
do I have any options aside from signing up for insurance and waiting the 30 days to make a claim?

Droid X Forums
My first Droid X also would not charge right out of the box and gave me an invalid battery message. I took it to a Verizon store and they told me the battery was fine but that the phone itself was "Dead on Arrival." I had to order another new phone. The next one has been fine. I hope yours is not DOA.
Sorry to hear your having issues, You should of returned the device with the code corrupt message.
Thats a bad sign in it's self... I would talk to CS at 611.
