Contacts and calendar questions

A few "common sense" things I can't find:

1. Is there a way to sort Contacts other than first name, alphabetical? Every other phone I've dealt with (including some truly primitive ones), allows you to sort by last name.

2. Contacts groups created in GMail on the web don't sync down to the DX?

3. How do I make an appointment invite in my e-mail move to the Calendar? Specicifaclly, got an Outlook calendar appt invite, but the Droid doesn't appear to know what to do with it.

Im having the same issue...On my P.o.s BB I would just send an invite to their phone to be put in their calendar.... But somehow the X is not recognizing the invite? I press "YES" to accept but it does not show up on my Calendar...

Any help will be much appreciated!
