Just curious, is it possible to run all apps in the background or just certain ones. I have a couple audio apps that just don't stay open when i switch screens. Any ideas or hacks are appreciated. Thanks.

Just curious, is it possible to run all apps in the background or just certain ones. I have a couple audio apps that just don't stay open when i switch screens. Any ideas or hacks are appreciated. Thanks.
When you switch screens?? Are you backing out of the apps or hitting the home key?
I tried both i hit back and it closes and same with home. Im talking about alex jones app but im sure there are others too
Hmm.. it should stay open when you hit the home button???
I just downloaded the app just to check this and it works fine???? I started it, hit the home button, and am listening to it as we speak. Maybe uninstall and reinstall the app.
I don't understand what it could be. I just deleted it reinstalled it and hit home and it still just shuts the application down i am running a factory 2.1 version of android. Are you on 2.2? i also checked under the settings of the application and i don't see anything that should be adjusted to fix it.
Yes I am on 2.2. I just did a test on my brother's X (stock 2.1) and I couldn't keep it open either. It shuts right down no matter how I try to switch out of it.

i really dont know what others there were but i know there were 1 or 2 more. ill post if i find more or remember them. good to know im not the only one though!
Ok. So I just upgraded to 2.2 and I tried the alex jones app again and it still won't background.
