i just purposely ran my extended vzw battery down all the way, plugged it up to my laptop with usb, now it won't turn back on!!! Can anybody help?

i just purposely ran my extended vzw battery down all the way, plugged it up to my laptop with usb, now it won't turn back on!!! Can anybody help?
it's also not showing the M on the screen when i plug it up but the green charging light is coming on at the top
turn off and put on the WALL CHARGER for an hour. DO NOT touch it til the hour is up.

k i'll do that. i put the stock battery in it which is fully charged and it came on. I was wondering if maybe that dead batt didnt have enough juice to fire it up. will it be ok to keep the stock batt in for 20 min or so and do some stuff that I was about to do, then put the dead battery back in and use the wall charger and just let it charge till morning?
battery needs to hit a minimum of 20% or so to turn back on again.
I think you'd be OK to swap batteries. remember the Li Ions dont have some of the issues of other rechargeables.

When you drain a battery completely, the DX will not power up immediately upon plugging it into either a usb or a wall outlet. After being plugged in for 10 or 15 minutes, it should develop sufficient power to power back on again at which time you can use it again.

The computer does not give it enough juice to get it going quickly. Only the wall charger will do that. You could probably get enough power after about 5 minutes on the wall charger whereas it would take you probably 20 to get enough out a comp.
Yeah I would not depend on your PC as a charger. It just does not put out enough juice to charge it efficently! Like the others say, when you kill the battery it needs to charge for awhile before you can turn it back on!

Fyi if your battery dies and you are trying to charge it with usb cable connected to a laptop it ain't turn on. I had the same issue then connected it to the wall charger waited 5 mins and boonmm fired right up.
