I was trying to install Droid X bootstrap and when I went to ROM manager to install it.... i get bootloop. can anyone help?

were you rooted? you have to install the bootstrap then clockwork. let me know if this fixes anything

Yes rooted, now i cant install anything cuz it keeps re-booting
Can I read my sd card if i put it in a computer?

I just want the phone working again. I dont mind if its back to stock or rooted 2.2 i just need it to work. When I power it on the "M" shows then "DROID" then the red eye. then after about ten second back to "DROID' then red eye then repeats over and over..... Oh I thot that maybe I could replace update.zip with a new copy by putting the sd card in my computer
When I try RSD lite it says failed flashing process (0x7100) phone connected
Go into recovery mode and do a factory reset. Reboot and see if that takes care of the problem.
Ive done that about 4 times
Did you try to flash the stock 2.1 back onto the phone?
