Exclamation Droid x screen replacement issues! Help please!!

Hi. i just bought a droid x and i used it for a couple of days and suddenly there were horizontal lines across the screen of my droid x. So i decided to replace it and got a new lcd. I took apart the droid x (disconnected all cables and connectors) the antenna cable and everything. i got to the lcd and carefully took that off and replaced it. I put the metal tab on top of the little spring thing on the case and connected everything back together. I turn it on and everything seems to working fine vibration and lights) the screen lights up but doesnt show the motorola sign or any color at all even slide the phone to unlock it and it vibrates. I would really appreciate the help. and will it be better if i post pictures?? thanks

Its obviously under power, but not picking up the software. Odd.
Seeing as how you took it apart my only guess to fix it is to take it back apart again and make sure everything is attached.

Tapp'd from one of my Nexus Devices

My screen did this too...make sure the LCD cable is all the way pushed in place. also, let me know if you're having brightness issues...I can't figure out how to fix that part...

Hello everyone, I have a droid x issue. I recently got my phone wet and immediately pulled the batter and dried it off. When i turned it back on later that day it had 2 massive black spots so I got a new digitizer/screen. When I pulled the phone apart, I noticed black adhesive on the ribbon cable connectors and it was very hard to get off. After putting in the new digitizer/screen I put it all back together...the screen didn't come on. Everything else was on, even tried test calling and sure enough it rang + vibrated. Any tips on how to fix this issue?

You replaced both LCD (black screen) and digitizer (clear glass)?
It's possible that new LCD was bad or wrong version.
Should be a version number on both new and old.
Take it apart and see if a connection or cable looks bad, try old LCD again.

Some of the other droids have different versions, doesn't look like the X does.
There are several different sellers on ebay or Motorola Droid X LCD Screen Replacement
