    Screen blackout

    I just had my degitizer replaced and everytime I make a phone call my screen goes black so I can't use my dialpad or hang up or anything. Other then that the phone is working great. Anybody know what the problem could be and how to fix it? I have tried the app shake awake and a few others but they didn't do any good.

    You don't have any of the sensors covered do you? It's supposed to go black when you put it up to your face and maybe for some reason it thinks it is always up to your face. There is probably a way to disable this feature but I don't know offhand.

    I agree it sounds like a proximity sensor issue.... It doesn't take much for one to malfunction... I had to clean the area around the one on my TBOLT quite often with canned air....

    there's a gasket surrounding the sensor. it prolly fell off off. check Proximity sensor part (rubber cover) or repair.
