Droid X unable ot opne pictures on PC

1st - phone is at the most recent releases 2.3.4 / 4.5.621.MB810
2nd- all pictures can be viewed on phone (455)
3rd - Pictures all show .jpeg as format

When using a USB cable transfer - photos from 'dcim' location to pc, any picture taken before 7/14/2012 can be opened (by any software ) on PC.
! Any picture take after 7/14/2012 - including one just taken - tonight - can nopt be opened on pc.

What changed? How can I get those picture to my pc? DO I really have to email all 200+ (tjhose take since 7/14)

! Most important - what do I have ot chnage on the camera settings to prevent tjis problem going forward?

I know sometimes a corrupt file can cause the camera to not function properly, but it doesn't sound like that is the issue since you can view them on the phone. Do the thumbnails show properly on the PC? Have you tried a different cable and or computer? Tried taking the SD card out and transferring directly from the SD card?
