Bluetooth problems after dropping Droid X on pavement

Ok, running a stock X (yes, I know), and yesterday while at my favorite food truck I dropped the sucker on the parking lot. Since then I can't happily listen to music or have a phone conversation with my motorokr headphones. I used to have about a 40' wander zone, but now I am writing this on my phone and the audio cuts in and out.Phone speaker, fine. Buds, fine. Plug in speaker, fine. Bluetooth totally bad. Is something just loose, or really screwed up?

I'd say it's almost certainly hardware, and almost certainly due to the drop.

Impossible to really say exactly what's wrong, but if you feel brave you could always pop that bad boy open and see for yourself...though, of course, you do run the risk of doing more damage.

Everything else seems to work fine, except BT. I picked it up, after I wet myself a little, and took a picture of the food truck sign. Got back to work and the BT keeps cutting out. I can't walk to the fridge without carrying the darned phone. Is the BT antenna something I can put back, or do I need to surrender it to the boffins?

Ok, got to searching the dark corners of the interwebs and found a squeeze test for similar wi-fi/BT loss. I started caressing my phone and put a finger on the camera lens. Gently squeezed and heard\felt a slight snap. Suddenly I can go from the kitchen table to the bedroom, about 30'. Sweet. Odd, but great.
