Cant get options to change modes (like pc mode) when plugging in USB cable

My phone used to list me the options to change modes, ie charging, pc mode, etc.. Now when I just plug in my phone via USB, it just starts charging off the pc immediately with no options.. Im running Vista... Can anyone help, i am just trying to put the phone into pc mode.

When you plug your phone in, can you pull down your notification bar and select USB mode to access the list and make the selection you need?

Thank you for the quick reply.. I cannot do that.. The phone just starts charging like it is stuck in charge mode.. I do not get a USB icon on notification bar..

I am also having the same issue. I have a matching pair of X2s.

One works just fine, icon appears in the top bar, and it AUTOPLAYS right onto my network, and I have it shared, and can write to it from any system on my network.

The other phone goes straight into charge mode, and no icon appears at the top. One time, it went into USB MASS STORAGE mode, but only one time. Now I get no menu, and no option, and I really want to be able to write data to this phone.

Please note, neither phone is rooted, and I am an EXTREME noob!

Any help offered will be appreciated, and sacrifices at the tech altar offered appropriately!
