    Nah if your absolutely stuck in bootloader you have to find an alt. way to charge the battery. Charge-only mode is built into ROM, when you are stuck in bootloader you have to get it out of the bootloader for it to start charging as the ROM is loaded after the bootloader. One of the pains of the locked-down Moto devices.

    Real Quick Update...I did buy a battery from Verizon retail store and then realized that Amazon sold them for $7 for the standard and $10 for the extended battery. I am ordering the extended this week so I should be good to go if you all still want to help. When I get the battery does it have enough juice to do what I need to do or should I also order the desktop charger?
