Missing/Corrupt SD File...SD wont read when connected to PC

Please help. I can't get my computer to read my phones sd card when I connect it via USB. I ran a catlog app and connected my phone to my computer and got the message below.

    "09-12 18:34:17.060
    E/usbd
    (1524): Unable to open /cdrom/cdrom_vfat.bin
    (No such file or directory)"

So Ive come to the conclusion that the file "cdrom_vfat.bin" is corrupt and is the reason for all of this. I did some searching and found that its the file responsible for mounting your sd so your computer can read it.

What I'm asking is can any one please get this file "cdrom_vfat.bin" from their SD card an send it to me so I can replace the corrupt file. I've searched the internet again and again and no luck. Once again the file would be in "/cdrom/cdrom_vfat.bin" and to retreive the file on your phone I'm pretty sure your have to have a rooted device.

    Thanks in advanced!

Looking through the contents of my SD card with Root Browser I see no such file. One question, do you have the latest Motorola drivers installed on your PC?

I think its one of those hidden files, not positive. And yes I do have motorola drivers installed. the usb was working fine until a few days ago, I was running a portable application on my computer from my SD card and made the mistake of pulling the usb out without properly ejecting it. So im pretty sure there's corrupt files. But have no idea on how to replace/fix them.

can the PC read the card directly, if removed from the phone, using an adapter? and do you have another card to use, to see if it works in the phone and is read by the PC?

I have neither an adapter or a spare SD card.
