You will have to sbf first for the root to take. Its just the way it is on .621. Which means you can't backup your apps/etc first. You may be able to boot up post-sbf without a data wipe as both are blur-based systems (dirty flash) but there is no gaurantees and you may end up data wiping it it doesn't boot.

A while back I rooted to Milestone X 4.5.604 Version 2.3.5...at least that's what shows on my "about phone". Anyway, I'd like to go back to unrooted. There's a lot of info on this forum so please point me in the right direction. Thanks
You'll want to do a .621 SBF using RSD Lite. If you follow the link in my sig "Important Info for .621" there will be relevant info, and post number two is a bunch of links and you will find a download link for the .621 SBF there. You will also need RSD Lite, that can also be found where the .621 link takes you.
