did I lose my root?

Just any tethering one from the market works. Personally I use the one made by müller lemons buxton called WiFi tether for root users. And since your on that version all you have to do is download it, give it root permission and be good to go.

That is the one that I have installed. I can connect but it will not open anything for me such as firefox, msn or any of my bookmarks.

Did you approve you're computer to have internet from the app? I think its called client access control

I wonder where i find client access control. I get on with the tether, access the internet and then it cuts off after a min. or two.

I found it, gave it androidtehter client control access , I can get on line with the app but it does not stay on, for instance, aol will work but then disconnets within 2 or 3 min. Same on the rest of by programs. Something knocks it off. Thanks.

Is there a way to delete the root and root the phone again. Before the phone tethered fine with my computer and I did not have to do anything except press the wifi spot, then connect ot android tether.

Try another app.

Im not really sure why it would be doing this.

Rerooting isn't going to do anything besides taking time.

Yeah there are tons of WiFi tethering apps. Just look search the market for it. I know barnacle gets lots of good reviews

I put barnacle on it with the same results, it will start up then stop on me. Oh well it is a good thing I am at home and can use comcast for my modem. If I was at my deer camp with no service then I would be p----Off. Thanks
