You need the 4.5.604 Milestone ISO. Burn it to a disc, boot your PC from the disk, put phone into boot loader and follow the instructions on the PC.

If that won't fix it then I'd say the phone is shot due to some sort of hardware problem. The Droid X is just about unbrickable (permanently that is, Lord knows I've "bricked" mine several times) unless it has hardware issues.

Alright so I just put the contents of the 'BOOT' folder on a cd. Put it in my Cd drive and switch to boot from CD and follow the on screen introductions? Also how would I go about changing my boot sequences for a Toshiba Satelite L655-S5062
Edit: a bust anyways.. can't Fing charge the thing.. Wall charger = nope. Charger in computer = nope. FFS. It had the green light on like it was charging left it in there for 4 hours.. bootloader says low battery.
You burn the entire ISO to disc as an ISO image. Not any folders. Windows has the ability to burn it built in. Or you can download Image burn to do it. Google "burn ISO in Windows".
If you have a spare cable you can cut the phone end off and strip the wires then connect them directly to the battery to charge it. The phone won't charge in boot loader.

Yes it can also be placed on a USB drive and booted from it.
