Exclamation CWM RECOVERY NOT WORKING w/ ROOTKEEPER .621

    Hey everyone...

So I took the .621 update a long time ago, and I recently decided that I wanted to flash the latest MIUI rom onto it. But whenever I press "reboot recovery" in Clockworkmod Recovery, The phone reboots... then the red motorola logo shows up, and then there's just a blank/black screen. Waited a while and its still blank.

Can anyone tell me whats going on? Or what I need to do to be able to flash MIUI onto my phone?

    Thanks

What's the bootstrapper your using? I'd assume you probably need to re-bootstrap after the OTA if you haven't already.

    Bootstrapper not bootloader...

Are you just attempting to use ROM Manager to update it without using the bootstrapper app first? Bootstrapper app needs to be ran first to put the wrapper on the recovery. I'm assuming your on stock - if so:

Open/get Droid 2 Bootstrapper, choose Bootstrap Recovery, allow Superuser, and wait for Success message.

Now, go into ROM Manager. Choose update CWM Recovery, then choose EITHER Droid 2 Bootstrapper or Droid X 2nd-init (either should work) - after then you should be good.

Based on the fact you are just black-screening it sounds like the logwrapper isn't applied (i.e. bootstrapper)
