    stupid question (vibrating text alerts)...

    hey all,

so can anyone make the DX vibrate for all notifications, without having to set everything to silent/vibrate mode? like for instance, on my old LG dare, i'd set it to ring/vib for calls, and only-vibrate for texts, without having to put the phone into vibrate-all mode or anything like that. does that make sense? thanks in advance.

for every app (that would typically include a vibrate function) there will be an option in settings to set it to vibrate with the tone you selected. for example, if you want it to vibrate when you get a text, go into your messaging app and then settings. i think you can do that with gtalk and gmail too, you'd just have to check. the exception is the phone... to do the phone, (from your home screen) hit your menu button and then settings, then sounds and there should be a check box in there
    Respect is rule #1

Uughh.. That is my professional opinion.

I have tried to set up corporate activesync thru the native app but no joy. I downloaded "Touchdown" and it works fine. I would still prefer to access thru the phone OS instead of using an outside app.
