Almost done. Just one more thing (unless something else comes up..heh)

Flashing the Droid X kernel..it says "Go into rom manager, and choose the option to reboot into CWR". I open rom manager and the only reboot I see is reboot into recovery. If I do that, I get to the screen with the triangle and the droid guy and it seems like it stays there.

Am I hitting the right option or?

First, did you open Bootstrapper and run Bootstrap Recovery and did it ask for Superuser permission?

After that did you open ROM Manager and update to latest CWM? When you do that a device list should come up for you to specify your phone. Choose Droid X 2nd init.

The screen you're seeing is stock recovery which means CWM isn't installed. Go through these steps again.

the app hide it pro also says HIDE IT PRO in your app drawer. I mean isn't that kinda stupid? For them to have it listed like that ? I mean IF someone was checking out the phone wouldn't that kind of be a red flag? LOL! I know they have a bogus sign in and all but IF my wife had a hide it app in her app drawer that , in it's self, would be enough to piss me off.

This methods is used by downloading a file and burning an iso file onto a cd or dvd using an iso burner on your computer. Then you boot your computer with the cd, not the computer's system. you don't use Linux as a new OS, its only on the disc and it doesn't replace Windows.
