Moving existing contacts from backup.assistant to google?

Can anyone tell.me.how.to move my existing contacts to my google account? I have already changed the setting to save new contacts on my google account.

If they are on your phone.. Just go into accounts and sync... And tell them to sync...

I tried that before posting my question to the forum. Back up assistant is the default withno other options....

Google contracts if checked automatically syncs in the back ground.... Just double check in a PC.. They should be there

Post script: out you can log onto your Verizon account.. Download them... Then upload that file to your google account... Then resync

Problem solved! Thanks - I had to do as suggested and export the contacts from the phone, email them.to myself so I could.import them on my pc, and.viola!
