Frankentext?

Recently, my Droid X has been sending message that are mashed together. To elaborate, It will send part of the message, but it will be combined with a message that I had previously sent. This has just started happening in the past couple weeks, and it happens at random. I get poor reception at my house, so I thought that may have had something to do with it; however, it happened again today when I sent a text from the city, and I had a perfect signal. Most of the mash-ups involve unsent texts, but some of them have involved texts that had been delivered successfully. I wouldn't this mind this quite as much, but the worst part is some of the text I've send my girlfriend contain messages that were never delivered to her, so she had thought that I was texting another woman. It was a total headache. Has anyone experienced this glitch, and is there anything I can do to fix the problem? Thank you in advance.

You don't happen to use handcent do you?

Try going into settings > applications > manage applications > "all" tab > scroll to text messaging > click on it, then click "clear data" and "clear cache"

No handcent for me; I've only used the stock text messaging app. I'm gonna try that trick, HarleyDude, and see if I have anymore problems with it. Thanks again.
