Wife drop phone in water
My wife drop her phone in the sink and got it wet. I have heard of so many diff ways to try to dry them out, I dont know what is the best. I've heard pouring alcohol on it and putting it in a bag of rice. Do any of ya'll know of a good way to try to dry it out?

^ do that. I personally tell people to leave phones in for 48 hours just to be 100% safe but generally 24 is okay.

Check out my notes in this thread (the last paragraph in post #5) from last June. Perhaps it can help, but you better do it asap since your "problem" began just a few hours ago. Good luck!

I left it seal in the rice all night and went to try it again, but it is stuck at the logo screen. I can get it into the bootloader, but that is it. I have a froyo CD, do you think if I were to try to flash that, that it might help? I believe that it is prob just shot, but I'll prob just put it back in the rice allday bc what else am I going to do with it...lol Guess I'll call insurance today too.

+1 to Just leave it in rice for little bit more
When I had this trouble with my LG "flip open" phone (dumb phone)
1.5-2 years ago I left it in rice from late Friday night when I got home until Monday morning. Didn't even look at it for 2.5 days and Monday morning it worked perfectly.
Just my $.02
