What PRL should be? Mine is 30078

I researched as much as I know how, learned that this is what the *228 call is supposed to update, but I also read that for verizon phones, the number should start with a 5, so I'm confused again. I tried googling "verizon prl 30087", but it's just a bunch of cars and death movies.

I think I may have a problem because I've been in areas where I have poor or no service, and other people also an verizon have 3g (where I can only get 1x) or at least something where I get no service at all.

I did the *228, and went through the thing, and it said my stuff was now updated, but nothing seems to have changed.

PRL is preferred roaming location. It is based on the area you are in and will be different in different parts of the country. If you dialed *228 and selected option 2, then you are updated.
