I think i broke my droid x

I just got a new warranty replacement droid X phone because my camera stoped working. I got it with the most recent update. I went to root with z4root and quickly found out that it will not work. Now the phone will only power on and hang at the red M logo.

I have tired to sbf the phone and no luck.. Also went into recovery and reset factoy, and cleared cache partition.. Still no changes..

Help please.. i need this for work!

So phones off then powered on to sbf. What's the issue? Can't get it into the mode or it won't take the sbf? And after a sbf you should clear data again and restart the phone.

I did a SBF. it boots up to the red M logo. Then hangs.

I do a batt pull.. then boot up holding the POWER and HOME button. Then i clear cache and reset to factory.. reboot and its the same thing.

Did you try to sbf using this method Linux solution to your Windows/RSD lite problems there's a video in that link with step by step instructions
