Need to save battery with android overclock. Please help!

My battery is very bad maybe lasting like 12 hours barely using it so what are the recommended profiles for android overclock and the governor settings, etc?

Well I underclock to about 300mhz and I still can't get 12 hours... Theres probably kernel tweaks you could do if you get some help...

Underclocking & undervolting is only one part, turn down your screen brightness, and stop your email from polling constantly, or turn on battery saver to stop data until you want it.

Are the people that say they get over 25 even 40 hours just exaggerating those claims then? I mean I would be fine with possibly lasting from about 7am to 8-10 pm. But it is only lasts until about 6 without much use. I will try those other things though.

im at 9 hrs 8 mins still got 60% charge

Damn what settings are you on? And are you rooted with the stock rom or another rom?

I think you could possibly use a sysctl.conf tweak too I think its under extra>advanced setting in android overclock...I'll dig around for the guide

im rooted and running 6 diff roms in boot manager....im currently boooted into encounter ics and havent made any overclocking changes as of yet...12 hrs 39 mins and still at 40%

....because i said so....
