Need help putting back apps into the system/apps folder

I rooted my droid x and removed blockbuster and amazon mp3 and I would like to get them back so when an update comes I will not get a bootloop. Is there any way to easily get them back in the system/apps folder that a 14 year old could do?

any apps you uninstalled you can find the .apks here. transfer to your sd card and move to /system/apps using root explorer (needs to be R/W)

click to install, and then change the permissions: first column all checked, second column top one checked, third column none checked. change back to R/O and youre set

I guess I will try it. Thanks but, would these apps really stop me from getting an update?

I was trying to put my system/app folder into 744 mode because I think this might have been the problem with the failing of the 2.2 during install. But I think I accidentally put it in 444 and now my phone is in a boot loop. Can someone please help me?!?!! How can I get this folder back to 744?

    Thanks!
