    Deleted app?

Is there any way to recover a deleted app? Had Tweet Castor Pro that kept locking so I deleted it cause it was driving me nuts. I was going to reinstall it but forgot I got it free a few weeks ago from OneLouderApps, not Market or Amazon (

It's not on App backup & restore or the SD card anymore. Also seems to be removed from Appbrain. Any chance of recovery? Thanks in advance

No, when I removed it from "manage apps" it is gone. No longer in Appbrain or App to SD backup.

If you are rooted and have a nandroid backup made when it was on the phone then it will be there when you run that backup. I've been in similar situations and what I did was make a current backup then restore the backup with the app in it. Backup the app with titanium. Then run the current backup to get back where I was and use titanium to restore the apply.

Find the link here for getjar. Download, go to gold star section, open and you'll find tweet pro for free

I know rooting isn't for everyone. It's up to the individual and how they feel about it. Therefore I would never tell someone they should root
But if you are rooted you can have backups in case something happens. You can even save them to a pc or disc etc that way if you say loose your phone and get a replacement you can put the replacement back the way the original was when you made the backup. You can also use backups to retrieve apps you forgot about by doing like I stated earlier.

I hear you loud & clear. I've been following/reading/posting here in DX forum since I got my DX April 2011. I've been apprehensive of Rooting cause I see many posts of people having trouble after rooting. I've seen "root problem, stuck at bootloader, bricked, etc" which has made me not want to take a chance. I have App to SD and also signed/joined Appbrain to back up all my stuff. However, if an app's deleted (as I just did) it's removed from SD card & appbrain, so I learned that the hard way.

Thanks for the feedback, but for what I need & use my Dx for I have not found any limitations, yet, that motivate me to root. I may have a different opinion after the warranty expires in April...

    Thanks again
