Possibly had account hacked

So earlier today I noticed there was an orange Triangle in my notification area today and it stated I need to re sign in to my google account after three failed tries I immediately opened my browser and tried there then right away it took me to another page and told me that suspicious activity was found on my account and then had me put my phone number in to send me a verification code so i did that then it made me change my password in just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and no I don't download warez or from untrusted sites i've only noticed this after the other day when I get an ad in my notification bar about a app killer I think it's getjar i've since filed a complaint on both the app killer and getjar via the android Market

I saw a report about the same thing maybe 2 weeks ago. I'm glad they take account hacking so seriously.

Mine got hacked a few months ago, but I have no idea how. Since I found it, I was able to change my password with no extra steps.

Also, I got Getjar well after that, and haven't had any problems. Good luck finding out exactly who or what hacked your account. If you get solid evidence, and it's something we should all watch out for, please let us know.

That happened to me several months ago without having an app killer or getjar. I wasn't sure what happened but I changed my password and all has been good since!

Today this morning i installed getjar and a game from their site. What was strange was that i first had to install some app from getjar and then after that i went back and pressed download/install and all it did was to relocate me to google play(market).From there i signed in as a big company i thouht could be trusted. Why do they need an app for that?

After this i logged in and google said it had been suspect activity and i had to change emailpassword. All this happened after getjar with an email i only use for the phone. So i think they redirect you and secretly monitor every keypress you do.
