I have 2.21 can't get it to update keeps saying update failed and I am rooted to please help
If you have frozen/renamed any bloat apps, you need to restore them before the update will install.
How do u find any of that out lol not to good on these phones lol still learning on them some
Let the OTA update download, click install, as soon as it starts to install hit the search key, it will show you where it fails.
Do you remember using Titanium Backup or Root Explorer to freeze/rename/delete any apps? If so, you need to do the opposite to restore them.
If you're not sure what you did it may be easier to SBF (check the link in my signature for a few guides), you can SBF to 4.5.602 then take the OTA to 4.5.605, then root again with the D3 one-click if you want root back.
k i held down the search button like you said he is what is said failed in apply_patch_check("/system/framework/framework-res.apk and said error in /cache/blur_version.2.3.340 so what do i need to go and fix in titam sorry to be asken so much
That is likely from a ROM or theme that you have flashed, chances are in you can fix that there will be more errors afterward. Honestly, your best bet is to SBF, check out the SBF forum link in my signature.
Couldn't he just freeze the update with TB? That's what I did an haven't had a ota notification since I froze it. (Just asking)
