Battery Life
Ok, I wanted to post this last night, but forgot.
I am noticing a huge change in battery life. Positive change.
When I first bought this phone I was using my Blackberry Storm 2 charger, thinking it didn't matter. Micro usb is micro usb. I was lucky if i got a full day out of it. I text a lot, use google talk a lot, and browse the market a fair amount of time.
I bought a motorola droid x travel charger and I have been using that for the past couple days and now I am getting almost 1.5 days. To me that sounds wierd. Any thoughts?
I did notice that the storm 2 charger output is only 700mah, where the droid x charger is 1300.
I am not doing anything different on the phone, i have not changed any of the settings.
Am I crazy or does this seem possible?

Hello,
My battery holds a charge for 2 hours and it is dead!!!! I can charge it by the computer and indicator will let me know when it is completely charge. I disconnect from the computer and I do not use it at all. Bam, the phone charger indicator dangerous low and return to the charger.
I called Verizon within the 30 days for a brand new phone about the battery charger, garble sounds, etc. The Verizon sent me a Certified New phone (which means a refurbished Phone they try to fix instead of sending it to motorola) through Fed EX. I had returned it by the Fed EX within an hour. Trying to pass me someone's else problem...I don't think so....
I am still awaiting for a brand new phone, which I am suppose to be receiving emm...September 2, 2010. I think and I am not holding my breath.

To me, it seems like a big coincidence. I have used many different chargers for my DX, and haven't noticed any major change (positive or negative) in battery life. The chargers I've used for my DX are: the one that came in the DX box, the one I got with my D1, a generic wall charger, a generic car charger, and a generic Micro USB data cable plugged into my computer.
I won't say that it's impossible that using the DX charger extends battery life, but I also would have a hard time believing it was caused directly by the charger unless more people report increased battery life by using the DX charger.
Congrats on whatever DID give you the longer battery life though! I am one of the lucky ones who seems to be able to get at least 15 hours of moderate usage out of one charge, and it's definitely nice to not have to worry about giving the phone a mid-day charge.
I intend to live forever. So far so good.
