Music on network through Playstation 3 PS3

Yesterday I connected my phone to my home wireless (my ps3 also is connected there) because I wanted to listen to tunes from my X on my home theatre stereo. After a few minutes, the music would stop and I would get a message saying music stopped because wifi connection lost.

My signal strength is good to excellent always.

Did this have something to do with my phone settings automatically disconnecting when the lock screen comes on from the phone being idle? I would like to find a solution. Help appreciated.
    Blessings,

I know I just read in another post that you do not have a task killer installed but that is what it kinda sounds likes - once the screen times out, then the task killer would kill the background apps and WiFi could be one of those...

Ok, after a bit of messing - my last post was not helpful but it got me thinking...try this...

Phone homescreen press hard menu, settings, wireless & networks, wifi settings, hard menu key, advanced, wifi sleep policy - what is yours set to? Mine is when screens turns off but I wonder if you change to never if that won't solve your issue...

Post back either way if you would please...good luck!!

settings>wireless&network>wifi settings>click menu>advanced> and change wifi sleep policy to never or never when plugged in (my choice) and just plug it in when you stream

Wifi was indeed set to shutoff after screen turned off. I switched to never when plugged in. I will try streaming music in a bit and report back...
