The DroidXForum app installs to SD by default, I think.
I once noticed it missing when hooked up via USB, and SD was not available.
I moved the app back to the phone.
Is your SD card mounting fine?

This exact same thing has happened to my X. Im running the stock Android 2.3. I havent downloaded any apps or anything to cause this. Just out of the blue the OS started draining the battery like crazy. Was there ever a resolve to this issue? If not then I may try my luck at rooting it and installing something else on there.

I installed JuiceDefender to conserve battery.
It shuts off your data connection when your phone is idle, and I only allow it to make a data connection every 30 minutes to pick up email, etc.
I don't need 100% availability of a data connection; battery life is more important to me.

I didn't change or load anything new. I did fix the problem though. I set my phone back to stock, rooted it, and installed Darkslide rom using your youtube video. So far this has fixed everything that was wrong with this phone.

Since getting .602, this problem has shown up for me.

Started the day (9am) at 100% full charge. About 5 hours later, I was at 80%, completely normal considering how much I generally use my phone. Android OS only using 5%.

About 2 hours later, my battery was down to 40%, with Andoid OS at 66%. What makes this even harder to bare is that I used my phone a LOT less during this time.

"5 Percent remaining" notification popped up about an hour and a half after that, checked to find out what Android OS was at right before plugging into charger.. 79%! Yikes!

BTW, I have an extended battery. A few weeks ago I would generally plug my phone in at night after it being off the charger for about 16-18 hours, VERY RARELY would I get down to 15% battery life, ever. This sucks lol.
