Hello everyone, today I've run into something that I have never encountered either on the fourm(s) or in my personal experience with my droid x until now.
I really need help!
So it starts off with my phone not waking from sleep mode. I couldn't get it to respond so I did a battery pull, and it went into the M bootloop.
At this point I was like ok fine, I'll just SBF since I wanted to try out GB anyway. So I go to do the SBF, and every time I tried to SBF, It would stop at
erasing flash memory, then after quite a few minutes state the flashing failed.
After several attempts I decide to try a full factory reset (hard reset).
But guess what? I can't. When I boot into the factory reset thingy it immediately states
E:Can't mount CACHE:recovery/command!
Can't read MISC!
(some other stuff I can't remember)
(I/O error)
(more stuff I can't remember)
I try to factory reset regardless...
It just loops in Wiping data:formatting data.........................(lots of dots)
I try the other option below wipe something and it does the same thing.
I try applying update.zip and it says it can't verify the signature!
Soooo is my X screwed? I have no idea what caused this.
Rooted with z4Root, running Rubix 2.01 and some black theme or something I can't remember.
HELLLPPP! I don't know what to do here. I spent about 8 hours searching online for a fix![]()
