    Safe mode

    Morning All
    Okay I know what safe mode on a cpu is but is it the same thing on a droid x? Turned my phone on this morn and on the bottom left corner it said safe mode. Turned it off and on then it went away. What's going on? Any help greatly appreciate. PS i'm not at all techy so pls speak in normal english. If not i'll be scratching my head all day long. Thanks again!
