Youtube videos won't play in the browser...
if i'm using the browser, when i click on a video, it simply refreshes the screen w/o playing the vid... youtube vids play fine on the youtube app but not the browser... when i first tried it, a popup came up asking me if i want to play vids in the browser or the app as the default... i accidentally clicked on the brower, and now i'm stuck... i cant find a way to change that setting back... i've cleared the cache and everything available in the browser settings, but i'm still having the problem... it's getting annoying cuz i can't simply navigate freely between browser and youtube if i see a link to a vid i wanna see on and outside website... i took it to the store, and they just gave me a blank stare... i can't be the only one having this problem... HELP!!!

You need to wait for 2.2 and Flash to watch Youtube outside of the Youtube app.

While you do need to wait for 2.2 for native browser support. I had same problem. I reset browser to default and it started asking again. Same symptoms as you. After resetting defaults I made youtube the default and now they all play in youtube app as expected. (menu button > more > settings > scroll to bottom > Reset)

Isn't the m.youtube.com using HTML5? I think only the iOS4 supports video playing in the browser via HTML5 at this time. Not sure if this will be updated in android 2.2...
