right now i wouldnt say that it has anything to do with a single aftermarket app. it seems users that flashed back to the stock factory reset are still having the rebooting issues even when just sitting at idle. with that in mind id say its a hardware failure or something is up with the OS that Moto is using for these phones.

Same thing
Received the X last week, and it has rebooted maybe 5 times so far. One was in the middle of a call. And just a few minutes ago, the X rebooted just sitting there idle. I demand answers! Any idea when froyo is coming to the X?

that link is already on the OP.
they might get some more answers over there but i haven't seen any yet.
one guy on the Moto forum says hes sending the log files from the rebooting phones to Moto's engys, but he hasn't posted back with anything concrete yet. one thing i can say that's pretty certain IMO its not specifically aftermarket apps thats causing it.
but if its hardware related or software i couldn't tell you.

i got my droid first week when it came out and my droid has only rebooted twice since i've had it. i have noticed that a lot of apps running in the background when it does it. i downloaded a task manager app to close apps that run in the background that i dont even ever use. i close them all the time. at least once a day. it seems to keep the rebooting from happening. hope this helps.
