I have recently developed a problem using my bluetooth with my DroidX The volume for the voice prompt stating, "say a command" is too low, almost non existent. The volume when talking with someone is fine. Is there anything I can do?

I have recently developed a problem using my bluetooth with my DroidX The volume for the voice prompt stating, "say a command" is too low, almost non existent. The volume when talking with someone is fine. Is there anything I can do?

I have the same prob. Most likely because I almost always have sound on vibrate only.
I got Volume Master Free, to see if that helps.

Turn off the Bluetooth on the Droid X. Place a phone call like normal. Adjust the call volume to the MAX and then hang up. Turn the Bluetooth on the Droid X back on and activate your voice command. It will work. You can adjust volume up or down in that fashion.Originally Posted by Bulldogmotor
My 'Voice Command" volume is different from time to time. Sometimes low, sometimes descent, sometimes it comes out over the DX's external speaker, even tho the ear bud is connected and the resulting call rings thru the ear bud speaker....go figure.
Rick's suggestion seems that it would result in really loud volume for hand held conversations. Bugs to be worked out, I guess.
