Nothing but " Unknown " in Contact List? (Potential Fix)

Not sure if anyone had this problem:

I have a stock, rooted, Droid X on 2.2.1

Starting a few days ago, whenever I would select contacts (from the Lower Right of any screen) I would get nothing but "Uknown" as an entries. Hundreds, if not thousands, of them with my own contacts not showing. The only way to see my actual contacts was to go into the dialer screen then select the Contacts Tab.

Well whenever I clicked on an "Unknown", I would see email messages from my corporate sync account and each one seemed to be different with no real header or discerning information. Just the text body.

So in the end, my fix was simple: I simply removed my corporate sync account, restarted my phone, and it seemed to have fixed the problem. Once I re-entered my corporate account, everything seemed to be fine.

Just wanted to throw that out there if it ever comes up.

Tried searching for "Unknown" in topic title and didn't see this problem. Forgive me if this is a report.
