Can't Delete Empty Thumbnails in Media Gallery
To transfer pics/videos to my PC, I typcially just plug in via USB and cut and paste files to my computer. The problem is, when I disconnect, I have a series of empty thumbnails in the gallery that cannot be deleted. I know how to scroll through these when reveiwing the camera roll and its quite annoying.
I've tried deleting all thumbnails from the DCIM drive but they are restored when you open the gallery on the DROID X.
One additional issue - I downloaded the WSOP app and all fo the media files, both jpeg and video are being stored in my media library. Is there any way to avoid this? I tried to create a sub folder for those files, but they remain in the gallery.

Plug your DX into your computer USB as mass storage, this unmounts the SD card. When you unplug it the phone will remount the SD card and refresh all your media. After a min or so go back to the gallery and the deleted thumbnails should be gone.
How do I plug in as mass storage?
Plug it in, then pull down your notification bar and select USB connection, then select USB Mass Storage. This makes your SD card work like thumb drive with your computer for transferring files.
